Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with 2.0L PHEV engines. The engine may shut down due to a loss of communication between the transmission control module and the hybrid control processor. An engine shut down can result in an unexpected loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
