Gillig, LLC (Gillig) is recalling certain 2024 Low Floor buses. A defective welded joint may cause the wiper arm to suddenly fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 104, "Windshield Wiping and Washing Systems." Inoperative wipers can reduce the driver's ability to see out of the windshield, increasing the risk of a crash.
