International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2026 IC Bus CECB buses. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured. An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.

What you should do
Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 16, 2026. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25527. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning February 9, 2026.
