THE DEFECT IS IN THE WHEEL RIM SIDE RING. THE WHEEL IS MADE UP OF A DISC AND RIM ASSEMBLY, SIDE RING AND LOCK RING. THE SIDE RING MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY SIZED WITH RESPECT TO THE OTHER COMPONENTS.
